Questions & Answers for ISLAM TODAY
"Everything Islam"
Thank you again for your questions and input. But now I have a question: "Don't you know any easy questions? -- like "What are the basics of reading the Quran?" or "Why can a man have 4 wives and a woman can only have one husband?" or "Why do Muslims kiss the ground five times a day?"
Actually, I'm most happy with your questions and comments. This is what I live for and I am most pleased to have a chance to converse with you through the internet, especially during these times of being confined to my home here is Northern Virginia. Your questions are very much on target. This in itself is a sign of guidance from the Almighty Above. May He grant us the wisdom to know the right knowledge and the ability to put it into practice, ameen.

Now as regards your question:
Thank you so much for your swift reply, I am very grateful. Also the websites you provided were very useful and it was wonderful to see such information being accessible via the internet. I do apologise for jumping in a bit deeply LOL..but i feel i may have got carried away. I bare so much
enthusiasm and a thirst for knowledge particulary in the case of Islam.
Being a Muslim to me is more than the basics you are taught. Which is why i had so many questions and wished to know how other Muslims felt and responded to these queries. I found it fascinating about the history of the Sufis especially as i am studying Christian Theology and when you mentioned the gnostics, it took me back to what i am learning at school. I agree that the books of other religions such as the Bible have been corrupted and contain many errors. The Qu'ran is the very word of God unchanged and uncorrupted! So may i ask another question but i promise it'll not be like my last! haha. Although i have read certain hadeeths and the translations of the Qu'ran. I need a bit of clarification and light shed on this query.
Allah, suban -a wat- a -ala said he created man in his own image. How does the Qu'ran explain this?
Did God mean in the image of his attributes, character, greatness etc. As we all have a part of Allah in us and i know Allah is obviously not a Human or looks like a human. So what was meant by this statement.
Bismillah Al Hamdulilah was Salat wa Salam ala rasoolulah. Maa baad:
Allahu Alim.
In the Name of Allah, I praise Allah and thank Him and ask for His Peace and Prayers upon Muhammad, and all of the prophets of Allah, ameen. It is only Allah Who has all the Knowledge, and we only have what He might give us.
To continue:

Again, it is only Allah who has All Knowledge.
May He forgive me my mistakes and guide us all to the right way, ameen.
You can find a lot of answers by researching on our website. Both Quran and Sunnah (Hadeeths) are word searchable:
