Schedule in Karachi

From the first day, in Karachi, I realized that I was going to be kept busy. We toured the city and saw the sights.

  • The largest building in Pakistan is in Karachi - the Habib Bank and it is 25 stories tall. (My apartment building near Washington, D.C. is 27 stories tall -- oh well)

  • I rode a camel on the beach (it is on video)

  • Visited with the local fishermen

  • Saw the most elaborate buses in the world

  • Watched the craziest rickshaw drivers in the world

  • Ate Chinese food (yes, I said "Chinese Food")

  • Filmed the eagles swooping around in circles high over the city

  • Accidentally drank some water (this can be fatal)

Can you imagine being in a country where the adhan is heard 5 times a day? It was inspiring to say the least.

So many brothers and sisters in sunnah dress. Beards are common and hijab is in the majority in many places. A surprising number of Pakistani women are now covering their faces while in public.

Speeches included such places as:

  • Karachi Club Annex

  • Sir Syed University Campus

  • Sir Syed Ahmad Program in Park

  • Faran Club

  • Dr. Farhat Hashmi's Al-Huda School for Ladies

  • Governor's Cabinet Meeting

  • Karachi Library

  • Pakistan TV

  • Universal Broadcasting (24 TV Shows)

  • Radio program

  • News Paper interviews

  • Habib Bank's Masjid (Yes they have a mosque)

  • Several mosques

  • Numerous private gatherings (very excellent)

We gave shahadah to a man from Canada while he was visiting the Habib Bank Zurich in Karachi.

Many Muslims reconfirmed their Islam and pledged to work for the dawah and propagation of Islam.

Many of the events and programs are recorded on video and audio tape. If you would like to order them, please email me at:

And most important we have already started making arrangements to return back for a 6 week program to go to Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and of course, back to Karachi  in February and March, inshallah.

Pray for us and ask Allah to accept this effort for His Sake.
