I visited your website a couple of months back and there was this hadeeth on the top of the page which said something like "The world will not come to an end until every person living on this earth is a Muslim, even those who live in houses made of animal skin" (I apologize, if I havent written the exact words). I was hoping if you could tell me where can I find this hadeeth? Is it from Bukhari or some other book. Could you please help me?

Thank you for writing and for your question. First let us begin with
Basics Of Islam
[click].

Here are some important points to keep in mind:

1. As Muslims we cannot lie about anything, especially about our religion.

2. We have original recorded sources of our religion:

       A) The Quran
[click]

       B) Teachings of Muhammad
[click]

This is a unique part of Islam, not available in any other ancient religions.

3. Sometimes "questions" contain misinformation. We must qualify what it is that someone is saying against what they are implying.

4. If during the answer, you hear yourself saying, "I didn't know that" or "This is good," then are you ready to worship your God and your Lord without and partners?

This what Islam is really all about. The most important subject is the worship of Almighty God, without any partners or associates or "gods" besides Almighty God.

Answer:

Thank you for visiting our website and for asking your question about the hadeeth posted there. The page that you are referring to might be:
http://www.todayislam.com/converts/reverts_or_converts.htm

And the quote there is:

"The Last Day will not come until ISLAM has entered every single house on the earth." (This is from my own memory - so any mistakes are mine.)
I found another translation to English of this or a similar hadeeth, collect by Ahmad and ibn Hisham (sahih) at the website:

http://iisca.org/knowledge/trust.in.allah2.htm

This is how they translated the hadeeth:

Yes indeed, as the Prophet mentioned in another hadith,
“Surely, this religion will reach the boundaries of the day and night and Allah will not spare a rural or an urban dwelling except that he would cause Islam to enter it by elevating some and degrading others. A glory with which Allah elevates Islam and a humiliation with which Allah degrade Kufr (disbelief).”
(Ahmad and Ibn Hibban, saheeh)

The hadeeth is intended here, Allahu 'Alim, inshallah, to instill faith and courage into the hearts of the believers, especially in times of difficulty and hardship and to remind us that Islam will triumph over all falsehood before the Last Days.

Allah says in His Quran what could be translated as:
“We will, without doubt, help Our Messengers and those who believe, (both) in this world's life and on the Day when the Witnesses will stand forth”
(40-51)
He also says in  the Holy Quran  what could be translated as:
“Fain would they extinguish Allah's Light with their mouths, but Allah will not allow but that His Light should be perfected, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it)”
(9-32).

The Prophet has many Hadeeth (his sayings) which give glad news of victory and plant hope in the hearts, especially the following Hadeeth:
“This religion will reach as far as the day and night reach.  Allah will make Islam enter every house and tent in a manner that will dignify and honor Islam and humiliate the unbelievers”.
